Reverend Aelred John Niespolo, OSB, M.A.

Fr. Niespolo is a Benedictine priest of St. Andrew’s Abbey in Valyermo, California. He made his final vows as a monk of the Abbey on August 15, 2004 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2005. Previously, he was a member of the Society of Jesus in California from 1965 to 1975. Fr. Niespolo has taught English and Philosophy at Loyola Marymount University, was chairman of the English department at St. Ignatius High School in San Francisco, and taught Benedictine history and spirituality at Gonzaga University.
