Rev. John O'Brien

Fr. John O’Brien was ordained to the priesthood in 2007 at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis. His ministerial background includes pastoral service in diverse parishes, diocesan administration, teaching theology, healing and deliverance ministries, and seminary leadership. He holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the Marist University of Guadalajara and a doctorate in theology from the Gregorian University in Rome. Before joining the Archdiocese of Los Angeles in 2018, Fr. John was Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Ferguson, MO. He has served as Academic Dean of St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo since 2019.
