This presentation will consider: 1) general biblical references to the experience of teaching; 2) specifically Christian and Augustinian approaches to the experience of teaching; 3) Christ as exemplar of effective teaching; 4)the senses in which the Doctrine of Discovery is found in Pope Alexander VI’s ‘Dum Diversas’ and 5) responding to calls that the Church rescind the Doctrine of Discovery.

A Jubilee Year from September 11, 2021 through September 10, 2022 celebrating 250 years of Catholic faith in Los Angeles on the anniversary of the founding of Mission San Gabriel Arcángel, the first church in what is now the Archdiocese.
As a result of a seminar in Catholic Imagination, two of our professors, Dr. Jennifer Rosato and Dr. Allan Vincelette edited a book titled "Extraterrestrial Catholic Imagination"
