Fr. Bao H. Nguyen is a priest of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. In 2010, he graduated from St. John’s Seminary with a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Theology. Fr. Bao has served in parishes as parochial vicar and administrator and as a regional vocation director before being sent to Rome by his Archbishop for further studies in 2016. In 2019, he obtained a Licentiate of Canon Law (J.C.L.) from the Pontifical Gregorian University. In 2021, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation and earned a Doctor of Canon Law (J.C.D.) from the Pontifical Lateran University. Prior to his assignment as a faculty member at St. John’s, Fr. Bao has served as judge and defender of the bond in the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
