Reverend John W. Gouldrick, C.M.
Director of Human Formation and Evaluations
Hailing originally from Victor, NY, Fr. Gouldrick was ordained in 1969 as a priest of the Eastern Province of the Congregation of the Mission (Vincentians). In addition to his ministry to candidates for the priesthood at the college and major seminary levels in the capacity of faculty member, Dean of Students, Local Superior, and Rector/President, he has also served as Co-Vicar for Priests in the Diocese of Portland, Maine. He also has had involvement in university administration at various levels at Niagara University, in devotional ad-ministration as the Director of the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal, and in financial administra-tion as the Provincial Treasurer of the Eastern Province of the Congregation of the Mission in Philadelphia and as the Treasurer General of the International Congregation of the Mission in Rome, Italy. Over the years, four different hospitals have invited him to membership on their medical ethics committees. His doctoral dissertation in the area of social justice was an investigation into the “Theory of the State in the Writings of John A. Ryan.”
