Boy Scouts Visit our Seminary

January 31, 2017

This past weekend, we welcomed Boy Scouts and their families to St. John’s Seminary.

The Scouts are working toward their “Ad Altare Dei” (to the altar of God) religious emblem, and one of their requirements is to visit a seminary.  The purpose of this program is to help each Catholic Scout “grow in his spiritual experience of his relationship to God and church,” notes the National Catholic Council on Scouting.  We are honored to help.
